The winter of 2008/2009 was the first spell of prolonged and extreme cold weather in the UK for many years, news reports quoted 18 years. It was a time of frozen fingers as I took every opportunity to capture the amazing sights that have been absent for so long. This is just a small selection at the moment and a work in progress.
