Shearing Time : Thanks to Harry Cox and Christine Duckett for allowing me to photograph their sheep being sheared by Arthur Cowling. He brought the portable shearing equipment to the field to do the job, this is common practice, especially for smaller flocks of sheep.

Dry Stone Walls : The Mendip Hills are one of the few areas of southern England where dry stone walls are a major feature of the landscape. The walls on Mendip have been the subject of a proect called 'Lifelines', the conclusion of this is a book "Lifelines;The Vital Dry Stone Walls of the Mendip Hills AONB". All 410 km of walls were surveyed as part of the project.

Farming UK : General Farming images,sheep, silage making, applying fertiliser etc

Sheep Dog Trial : A sheep dog trial is a competition to assess the skills of dog and handler. Sometimes the sheep are way smarter than expected and manage to make things very difficult for the competitors.

Fishing @ Blagdon Lake : Blagdon Lake is famous for it's beauty and also for the trout fishing. Some of the images here were taken during the World championships in 2000?

Sheep : These sheep are being moved to a new field where the grass is luscious and long, however, they were a bit uncooperative and tried Keith's patience!

Mobile Milking Parlour : This series of pics show the location and use of a mobile milking parlour on the moors near Wells. This is used because the cows graze too far from the farm to go in for milking. The actual parlour can be transported around to different fields as required. The milk is pumped into the small tanker and taken back to the farm.
